Brewtus Brewing Company

23 Chestnut Avenue

The idea for Brewtus Brewing Company started in 2012 in John’s garage brewing on a home built Brutus-10 style brewing system. However, back in Christmas of 2005, Jason received his first brewing equipment kit as a present. Jason claims to have started brewing as a poor college kid who had a taste for $140 a case Belgian beer. The kit consisted of a couple buckets and a pot to boil on the stove and a couple other necessary tools. Determined to conquer the poor college kid blues, Jason set out on brewing beer to his own taste, never using a kit, and diving head first into a Belgian Dubbel style beer from a recipe the he created based on things he read. While, he recalls the beer being “drinkable” he decided to pick up and read every book and piece of information he could get his hands on.

Atmosphere is nice, the band was great ! But the staff on the other hand wasn't up to the task. Slow quite honestly. The burger I got, " Brewtus " was very tasty. But 11. 61 for just a cheese burger wasn't worth that price. It's downtown Sharon PA. Not Pittsburgh or Cleveland. Although the place is really nice in it's taste of nice dinning. And I believe this is why the cost is high, but one should invest time in thinking several other places for fine eating. But for a lone cheese burger. It's a big Fat Red " F " . And no I did not check or drink any of their locally made brews, only because I am on dialysis. So for casual eating bring money and never mind you're budget. FYI I was there for a party. If I had known, I would have just gotten some poppers or fries. In my final assessment, 8.50 is what that cheese burger is worth.

We we're there for lunch. Our server was timely, polite and friendly. The crabcake mac n cheese balls were one of the best appetizers I've ever eaten. I enjoyed the beer as well. The restaurant had a nice aesthetic and seemed like a lot of fun.

We love Brewtus Brewing for a great night out on the town because its a fun dining option in Downtown Sharon. They have an interesting changing menu, yummy micro brew beers, live music and fabulous owners and staff. The outside seating options and fun downstairs bar area are great. They also host events like live music, small receptions, and parties in the hall upstairs. Food: the 'build your own burger' at $10.95 is pretty good, while the mixed sweet potato and regular seasoned fries for $3.95 are a fresh and delicious huge portion big enough to share with a flight of their latest microbrews. I always ask for a side of beer cheese to dip them in because it's yummy.

Thank you, Gabby, for chatting with us today! The AI IPA is outstanding! The Belgian IPA was sublime. What a friendly, honest-to-goodness, for REAL place to visit for lunch, dinner or a couple cold ones and appies. The decor, right down to the restrooms, is clean and tasteful. Sharon PA has a true gem. We will def be back!!

The greatest burgers. The meat is great and seasoned well. The toppings are a great compliment to the burger. The jalapeno burger is by far the best in my opinion. The atmosphere of this place is great everyone is very friendly.
