During the fabled Summer of 2003, good friends Jordan Busch and Sara Sawicki told family and friends they intended to open a wing joint. Sara had just finished her fifth season of guiding whitewater rafting trips on the Arkansas River, and Jordan was fresh out of law school. People thought they were nuts. For Sara and Jordan, the only logical step was to open up a cool wing joint. The first customers arrived on Jan 1, 2005.
In the early days, there were just a few cooks with Sara and Jordan out front slinging wings. 11 years later, with the help of a wonderful staff and amazing, loyal customers, FOTM has become a Portland institution. FOTM now has 3 locations and over 100 employees.
