Founded in 1860 on the wooded hillside banks of the Cottonwood River in New Ulm, Minnesota, the August Schell Brewing Company is the second oldest, family owned brewery in the United States. Our award winning beers continue to be carefully brewed by a fifth generation descendant of August Schell.
