We opened Faction Brewing to the public in December of 2013 in an old 25,000 sq. ft. airplane hangar. Our 20-barrel brewhouse has expanded quite a bit since then- producing 4,500 barrels in 2015. Likewise, our tasting room has expanded from a 6-tap kegerator and a few seats to a 20-tap direct draw system, 30 ft. redwood bar and ample seating indoors and on our patio with an amazing view of the SF skyline. We offer a wide variety of pales, IPAs, Belgians, porters and stouts- and, when the barrels tell us they are ready, barrel-aged beers. We've dabbled in just about every style but the locals love our A-Town Pale, only available on the island, and keep coming back to fill their growlers and tip a few pints with friends.
Our love for excellent beer is apparent and we will never compromise the quality of our product. We knew we were on the right path when we took bronze for Puddy Porter at the 2014 Great American Beer Festival, only 9-months after opening our doors. With the help of our dedicated employees, we continue to push the boundaries of beer and expectations of our customers.
