We are a collaboration of makers. Â Beer & science guy Jason owned a home brew shop. Â Brewers Scott & Michael were the managers. Â They met restaurant guy Rob who was looking to open a local spot. Â We all came together to LET IT POUR as Falling Sky Brewing in January 2012. Â We opened the Pour House Delicatessen in July 2013. The outpouring has been amazing! On behalf of all of us + Lead Brewer Scott S, Fermentation Guru Scott T, GM Nina, Head Baker Roger, Sous Chef Nate, Executive Chef Brandon and all our amazing staff... Â LET IT POUR!
We have tried to consider every element of our spaces. Â Our friends, Glenn Wilcox & Anca Trandafirescu, former U of O Architecture Profs, currently University of Michigan Profs, designed our tables and designed and many of our light fixtures. Â The Delicatessen features tables that are made from one contiguous 110 ft cut down the middle of a local Doug Fir tree that we had cut and kiln fried for 3 months, see below.
Glenn & Anca made lights above the table with hand molded carbon fiber.  From this project they created their own- which was featured on the cover of Architecture's most  prestigious magazine (click the magazine cover for the article)
