History:
New on the beer scene and immediately captivated, we jumped into the best industry we have ever witnessed. Our family began brewing in 2012 with our son John Garcia, Lookout Brewing in Black Mountain, NC.  With a rebellious spirit and lofty objective our Jersey family encouraged and funded the first brewery to double down in North Carolina -from the mountains of Asheville to the beaches of Wilmington and remain a debt free family business.  For more than a year all brews came from a Sabco ½ barrel system with up to 5 brews daily. It's hard to sleep when you have a brewery; your creative side is always on; you want to get up and go to work; and each day offers a chance to do something new and exciting.  Our mission is to offer high quality fresh brewed local beer to the coastal Wilmington area transforming all craft beer seekers into believers of how beer can dare to be different and remain pleasing in taste.
Good Hops Brewing brews daily on a 3 barrel system producing English style "session" Ales. Â With 8 taps at the brewery we rotate through our two dozen recipes continually offering new beers and keep our flagship beers available year round. Â You can find Good Hops beer in over 3 dozen local restaurant and bars. Â We believe in the localization of the craft beer movement while leading the way for socially-conscious business supporting and giving back to our community.
