About Us:
The Burger Stand got its start in an Irish pub kitchen in Lawrence, KS in February 2009. Shortly after that it relocated to The Casbah on Massachusetts St and now occupies on the most interesting buildings in downtown Lawrence. In September of 2011 The Burger Stand expanded to a second location in Topeka, KS near Washburn University. The Topeka location features seating for nearly 150 and, two fully stocked bars - one of which is in the back dining area referred to as "The Pong Bar!" The Pong Bar offers 2 ping pong tables, 2 pool tables, 1 Foosball table and, pinball machine! This area is available for private rental. In April of 2014 The Burger Stand opened up it's third location at The Taos Ale House located in the historic district of Taos, New Mexico at 401 Paseo Del Pueblo Norte.
burgerThe Burger Stand's menu focuses on gourmet burgers but, also includes specialty "Hawt Doggz", a large vegetarian/vegan menu and, gluten-free options. Our food is unique, yet familiar using quality ingredients from nearby. Our beer and wine selection includes handcrafted ales brewed in house and, a diverse variety of guest beers and wines to suit any taste. Our dining room is comfortable and features three large screen TVs making us the place to be on game day. We also love live music! Frequently you can find either local or touring musicians set up in the corner of our pub. The music is always free and can cover a wide range of styles.
