History
The property that the winery and brewery now sits on was once a functional hog farm. The land was purchased at an auction by Joe Kraus and the front vineyard was planted in 2009 with 5 varietals. The back vineyard was planted in 2011, adding on to the now 1,500 total grapevines on the property. In 2014, we opened the 1830s brick farmhouse to the public as our tasting room. At the time, we served only wine; we expanded in 2017 by adding the brewery with a line-up of 3 beers. Soon after, we refurbished the barn to function not only as our manufacturing facility, but also as an event space which seats about 125 guests and boasts its own bar. Now, we have up to 12 beers on tap depending on the season, and have plans to build a separate manufacturing space to expand capacity even further! Outside, you will find seating, a fire pit, volleyball courts, and a stage. We encourage you to come join us for a night!
